Overview

Quick context

What is Expense Manager?

Expense Manager is a practical online utility for day-to-day business and content workflows. It is designed to reduce friction in common tasks so you can move from input to result quickly. Instead of installing heavy desktop tools, you can run the process in-browser and export output immediately.

Why use Expense Manager?

Teams often need fast one-off tools without onboarding overhead. Expense Manager helps with exactly that: quick execution, straightforward controls, and downloadable output. It works well for freelancers, small teams, and operators who need reliable utility actions inside modern workflow stacks.

Expense Manager best practices

For the best results, use clear input data, verify final output before publishing, and keep copies of generated assets in your project folders. If you use the output in client-facing documents, review labels and formatting for consistency with your brand and compliance requirements.

Answers

FAQ

Are my expenses stored on your servers?

No. Expenses live in your browser using local storage on this device. They never reach Invoicey or any server. If you switch browsers or devices, the data does not follow you. For team-wide expense tracking with audit trails, use the Invoicey app.

Can I export expenses for my accountant?

Yes. Click Export CSV to download a clean spreadsheet with date, category, vendor, amount, VAT, and notes. Most accounting tools accept CSV uploads.

How are totals calculated?

The tool sums the Amount and VAT columns row by row. Empty rows are ignored. Category totals tally the Amount column for each matching row.

Can I track expenses in different currencies?

Set one currency for the whole sheet. The tool does not convert currencies. Multi-currency invoices and expense capture are available in the Invoicey app.

What happens if I close the tab?

Your rows persist locally on this device until you clear browser storage or change browsers. Export CSV before clearing if you want a copy. Reset restores a single blank row.
